Napa Rose

As a Senior Content Designer, I was responsible for recommending a new strategy for this prestigious restaurant's web page. I gathered site data, developed a new web strategy, recommended illustrations, benchmarked Michelin-starred hotels, and delivered a custom web template that addressed stakeholder needs.

The Challenges

Single-Page Constraint

Napa Rose expressed interest in having a standalone, multi-page website; however, its digital presence is required to remain within the Disneyland website ecosystem.

4 Dining areas

Mention the new strategy of the restaurant: Napa Rose reopened with 4 dining areas, and each area has its own menu and booking flow. Not all areas accepted reservations online.

Booking Flow

Modify the existing booking flow so that all dining areas availability were discoverable at once, rather than a specific booking flow for each existing dining areas

Goals & Metrics

The objectives were to

  • Improve our dining reservations flow so that users can find availability for each dining areas on one page.

  • Improve the discoverability of menus

  • Emphasize on the the seasonality of the menu and fresh products.

  • Track engagement on the page and simplify content as needed to emphasize on the new dining areas.

Our KPIS:

  • Track page impression: increase traffic by 16% for web and 23% for mobile

  • Dining reservations: increase in dining reservations by 13%
